SPLASH Co-design of a Universal Aquatic Inclusion Toolkit

About the study

The SPLASH UAIT project is a codesign study working to develop a Universal Aquatic Inclusion Toolkit for the Australian swimming sector. The project sits at the intersection of disability, paediatrics, sport participation, and health promotion, and draws on perspectives from researchers, therapists, families, and the aquatic sector.

Who can participate?

  • Allied health practitioners (physios, OTs, EPs) with current registration through AHPRA (or equivalent) with recent experience working with children with disability with physical activity interventions.
  • Swimming teachers and aquatic centre staff who support (or want to better support) children with disability
  • People with lived experience of childhood-onset disability — including adults with childhood-onset disability, parents and carers of children with disability, and young people with disability aged 15+ (with parental permission).

What is involved?

Participation will be via online workshops.
