In the words of Kosci co-founder Hannah Diviney:
“people with CP can do anything they set their minds to – they don’t have to watch from the sidelines. They can participate in life and be adventurous.”
We saw this recently at the 2023 Krazy Kosci Klimb when 15 young people with cerebral palsy successfully reached the summit of Australia’s tallest mountain.
Participants – along with their support teams – scaled the peak using a combination of methods, using modified wheelchairs, walkers and other assistive devices over an 18km trek to the summit.
Amazingly, the teams have raised more than $500,000 for disability sports, accessible gym and therapy programs in the process – the biggest result in the history of Kosci!
Thank you to our wonderful staff, generous corporate partners and most of all our participants and their families for an incredible life-changing event.
You can still donate to support our Kosci champions – get involved now!
“Never stop chasing your dreams, because you never know, they might just come true.” Avalon, 2023 Krazy Kosci Klimb participant
