Investigating the Feasibilty of the OpenExo Exoskeleton for Individuals with Cerebral Palsy

About the study

The aim of this project is to explore the development of a wearable exoskeleton to support people with cerebral palsy (CP). Current exoskeleton technologies often face barriers that limit their use, including high cost, limited sizing options, and designs that are not easily customised to individual needs. This project aims to explore ways these challenges could be addressed in future designs.

We invite you to fill out a survey so we learn more about the experiences, needs and challenges of people living with CP. The information collected will help guide the future design and development of mobility aids that better reflects the needs and preferences of the people who may use it.

Who can participate?

  • Adults (18+) with cerebral palsy
  • Caregivers/ family of people with cerebral palsy
  • Clinicians with experience working with people with cerebral palsy (e.g., occupational therapists, physiotherapists)

What is involved?

A 10-minute online survey
