Family-friendly practices

Baby walking with help of its parents - first steps

We strive to create a family friendly culture that supports our employees to balance their family and work obligations. Take a look at the family-friendly benefits available at CPA.

Flexible working

Flexible working arrangements at CPA vary across the different areas of our business. We aim to find the right solution to balance the needs of our clients, the organisation, and our employees.

Carer’s leave

CPA employees can use their paid personal/carer’s leave entitlement to support an immediate family member or a member of their household who requires care or support due personal illness, injury or an unexpected emergency.

Paid parental leave

Paid parental leave is available to permanent fulltime or part-time employees with a minimum of one year’s continuous service. Eligible employees receive twelve (12) weeks CPA paid parental leave (maternity and adoption); this is in addition to any government paid or unpaid entitlements.

Paid paternity/partner leave

Permanent employees, with at least one year’s continuous service, are eligible for two (2) weeks paid paternity/partner leave.

Grandparent leave

Employees who work 22.8 hours or more per week on a fulltime or part-time basis (or are on a 12 month minimum contract), and are about to become a grandparent, are eligible for one (1) day paid leave at the time their grandchild is born.

Pre-purchased additional leave

At CPA, employees have the option to apply for additional pre-purchased leave through their manager.
