Personal routines and self-care

Many people with cerebral palsy (CP) feel it’s important to be able to care for themselves on a day-to-day basis.

This may include toileting, bathing, moving between positions, dressing, managing personal hygiene, preparing meals and sleeping. How well you can care for yourself comes down to a combination of your skills and abilities, the activity, the environment around and what support you have access to.

We offer information, assessment, intervention and evaluation tailored to the unique needs of each individual, their family, and the goals that are important to them.

We help adults become as independent as possible, feel more confident and in control of choices in their lives.
