Employment and vocation

If your teen doesn’t want to go into further study straight after school, they may wish to explore opportunities for part-time or full-time work or an apprenticeship.

These opportunities can be in mainstream or supported work settings, depending on individual abilities, needs and preferences. It is a good idea for your teen to try and gain volunteering, training and work experiences throughout their school years. This will help them to confidently approach employment opportunities later.

Our skilled and dedicated staff support teenagers with cerebral palsy and similar conditions. We provide services and programs that work towards building the skills needed to prepare, look for and gain employment. We also provide individualised capacity building activities so young people can achieve their employment goals
