Assistive technology and equipment

Teenagers have busy lives.

They are learning, socialising, finding new interests and refining their functional and life skills at home, in school and out in the community. Assistive technology and equipment is now likely to be an established part of daily life for teenagers with cerebral palsy. Individualised and customised technology and equipment solutions will support teenagers to focus on functional skills, independence and taking part in many life areas.

Assistive Technology can help with communication, friendships and other relationships, movement and mobility, accessing school curriculum, work, sport, leisure, self-care, and health and wellbeing.
