PRAIRIEWOOD – Program Assistant – Leisure Labs

DATESWednesdays (During School Terms)

TIME: 3.30pm to 6pm

LOCATION:  Cerebral Palsy Alliance, 224 Restwell Road, Prairiewood

Our Prairiewood Campus is looking for volunteers to assist in facilitating group activities and supporting the adolescents in our community based Leisure Labs program.

Our Leisure Labs program aims to engage young adolescents in our community with energy and support, to enable them to gain independence and confidence. The program includes engaging with the clients in leisure activities including cooking, arts and crafts possible drama classes/meditation/yoga etc.

This program runs on a term by term basis during the NSW school calendar term. The group runs every Monday from 4pm – 6pm at our Prairiewood Campus in Western Sydney.

Our special needs participants are aged between 13 and 25 years of age with a range of disabilities. Each group will be supported by our Youth Coaches and support workers but we are also looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist please.
