Anne Matthews
Position: Physiotherapist

I love my job because…

I have a special interest in early intervention and early diagnosis of cerebral palsy. I enjoy helping families to understand what cerebral palsy means for their child and supporting each family to learn how they can best assist their child to develop new skills.

I can help you with…

Working alongside children and adults with a wide range of disabilities, as well as expertise in exploring different interventions to provide clients with independence, including mobility devices and hydrotherapy. I completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in 2010, and joined Cerebral Palsy Alliance in 2015. I am also currently involved in a research study which is investigating a new intervention called GAME. It is aimed at improving movement and cognition for babies with cerebral palsy or who are at risk of having cerebral palsy.
