Western Sydney Orthotics Clinic

CPA in partnership with AbilityMade
We are excited to announce our Western Sydney Orthotics Clinic available at CPA Kingswood centre. The clinic provides access to the latest in orthotics technology. This service is available for children and adults with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities.

Run in partnership with AbilityMade, the lower limb orthotics specialists, the clinic utilises the latest technologies to create ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs) that prioritises fit, comfort and functionality. The clinic brings together the expertise of both physiotherapist and orthotist to provide you with the best outcome.

AbilityMade uses innovative 3D scanning and printing technology to create AFOs that are customised to your needs, interests and lifestyle. Our orthotic services deliver the best possible solutions from both traditional manufacturing and 3D printing.

Traditional casting methods can sometimes be traumatic, time consuming and feel restrictive. AbilityMade’s digital approach replaces the casting process with a simple scan. It uses comfortable and supportive materials that can mean lighter and thinner AFOs. It also enables design features that are not possible using traditional manufacture so no matter your age, you can reach your movement milestones and goals.

As children grow and engage in new activities, their AFOs also need to change and adapt. 3D printed orthotics allow orthotists to easily repeat or adapt the designs in the future as needed.

Our CPA physiotherapist in collaboration with the orthotist will provide the support you need at any stage of your life.

The 3D printed AFOs come in a variety of fun colours and patterns so you can choose your personal style.
