Lifestyles Afternoon Club

A fun and inclusive program for teens to build life skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Lifestyles Afternoon Club is a weekly program for young people with cerebral palsy and similar physical disabilities, aged 13 to 17 years. The program offers a range of activities that promote personal growth, social interaction and creativity. Each session is thoughtfully designed to ensure participants gain valuable skills and experiences in a fun and inclusive setting.

What does the program involve?

The program includes a variety of activities tailored to the needs and interests of the group. Activities are designed to foster relationships, encourage decision-making and promote independence. Each session is led by highly trained youth-focused disability support practitioners.

Participants learn to prepare and cook meals, promoting independence and practical life skills.

Engage in painting, crafting, tie-dying, clay modelling and keyring making to express creativity.

Strengthen friendships and teamwork through interactive games and obstacle courses.

Learn to create and edit videos, fostering creativity and technical skills.

Outdoor activities

Experience the great outdoors with engaging activities, games and sports that promote physical activity and team bonding.

Parents and carers afternoon tea
