Our modern clinic has the latest dental and imaging equipment. The clinic is wheelchair accessible with a ceiling hoist to transfer people into the dental chair if required.Â
The clinic is set up to perform basic oral assessment, oral hygiene, clean and scaling of teeth, and some minor dental surgery/orthodontics. We carry out all general dental procedures, including crown and bridge work which can now be achieved using our new Cerec machine.Â
If a client needs dental work to be performed under a general anaesthetic, we offer that as a service at Hornsby Hospital. Waiting times are dependent upon hospital capacity.Â
The clinic is funded by the NSW Department of Health and supported by sponsors including Sirona, Dentavision and Erskine Dental.
Our dental clinic services are provided by a team of around 30 dedicated volunteers including dentists and hygienists. Our volunteers donate over 380 hours of time each year. If you’re a dentist or dental hygienist and interested in volunteering for this vital service, please contact our volunteer team here.
