CPA Telepractice

CPA Telepractice gives you the flexibility to access services online, via your desktop computer, laptop, or any other mobile device.

CPA delivers Telepractice services by linking clinicians and clients via a web based digital video platform. You can connect for appointments from a range of locations including school, work and home.

This means you can speak to your therapist, or other service providers, in the privacy of your own home, at school, or even at work.

You can also invite other family members, service providers, and specialists to join you from their locations, all in the one.

CPA Telepractice gives you greater access to services that really make a difference.

Who is Telepractice suitable for?

CPA consultants Jane Berry and Liz Nade outline what Telepractice is and which service delivery it’s appropriate for.

You can access a great range of CPA services at home right now!

If you have a pre-arranged appointment, CPA Telepractice can be accessed via this button.

From here, you’ll be asked to enter your details (just so your therapist knows who is waiting) and you will enter an online waiting area. Your CPA therapist will be notified that you have arrived in the waiting room, so they know when to join the conversation.

Unlike traditional video conferencing services, you won’t need an account, special software or dial-in details, making it simple and easy for you to access.

Telepractice services are provided using a secure platform, and like any face to face consultation your privacy and confidentiality will be securely maintained in a Telepractice appointment.

If you want to consider using CPA Telepractice as part of your (therapy) service plan, it’s a good idea to do a test call to resolve any issues you may have with your: Connection, Browser, Image and sound.

CPA Telepractice does work on low Internet speeds, however lower speeds may affect the quality of the call. If your Internet speed is less than what you think it should be, please contact your Internet provider.

You can test your Internet speeds at Speedtest.

  • Ten minutes prior to your appointment turn on your device and click on the ‘Connect to your appointment’ button to access the waiting room. If you experience any problems contact your clinician or service straight away to let them resolve prior to start time

  • Telepractice works best in a private and quiet room with good lighting.
  • Microphones are sensitive so where possible limit background noise, potential disruptions by pets/children and switch off mobile phones.
