New NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for 2022-23

Dear CPA clients, families and representatives,

As you may know, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) reviews and updates its pricing throughout the year to ensure the costs of NDIS services can be met through the scheme.

The NDIS pricing arrangements and price limits (previously the NDIS Price Guide) regulates the prices that registered providers can charge for services.

The Annual Pricing Review showed the cost of delivery core supports was higher than anticipated during 2021-22, therefore they have increased the price limits for services delivered by disability support practitioners by up to 9% to address the following:

  • the impact of COVID-19
  • investment in quality and safeguards
  • shift allowances for workers
  • Fair Work Commission’s recent wage decision
  • Superannuation Guarantee charge.

The new NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits will come into effect from 1 July 2022.

How the price changes affect your CPA services

There are no changes to CPA pricing for therapy services under capacity building supports. The changes will impact core supports services such as accommodation, lifestyles and community participation as CPA will apply the new NDIS prices from 1 July 2022. If you access core supports services with us you may notice some changes to your service agreements and invoices.

These pricing changes should not impact your goals or the services you receive, NDIS is expected to update your annual funding to reflect the new price limits.
