Sydney Singles
In an exciting end to the Sydney Singles Boccia Competition, Paul triumphed in the first semi-final, defeating Rachel with a solid score of 6-2. Meanwhile, Ange battled fiercely against Brian, narrowly securing victory with an 8-7 finish. The final showdown saw Ange face off against Paul, where tension ran high as they battled to a tie-break end. Ultimately, Ange emerged victorious, clinching first place. In the bronze medal match, Rachel rebounded strongly, overpowering Brian with an impressive 8-1 win. Overall, a fantastic showcase of talent and sportsmanship throughout the term of Sydney Singles. Â

Super League
An exciting end to a term of world class boccia! The matches were so closely contested, really highlighting the skill and determination of all the players. PK’s comparison to the athletes starring on the world stage speaks volumes about the level of play on display. Â
Terry came out on top in the first semi-final match against Kylie, while Ange also advanced into the gold medal match, holding out on a late surge from Aaryan. Terry and Ange battled it out in an all-mighty match to see who the top dog of Term 3 would be. Ange got out to an early lead, winning the first 3 ends by 1 point. However, Terry didn’t give up and the door was slightly open for him to snatch the win or at least send it to a tie-break end. With Ange playing all her balls and Terry having 4 remaining, the game was there for the taking. However, Ange did enough with her defence to limit the points taken by Terry and she won the game 3-1. In the bronze medal match Aaryan shook off his loss to Ange to demonstrate a strong win against Kylie, which was also 3-1. Super League Boccia certainly showcased some thrilling performances and intense competition throughout Term 3. Â
