Learn positive ways of expressing yourself

Use drama activities to create a range of stories, both journaling personal stories and the creation of imaginative stories.

This will enable you to act out scenes but also document your story using either recording, media, a journal, cartoon or posters.

Skill development will focus on working and communicating positively within a peer group.

Furthermore, building confidence through creative, fun and interactive self-expression.

 

What's involved?

  • Drama warm up activities
  • Improvisation with scene setting activities
  • Self-expression through storytelling
  • Use music and pictures to make stories
  • Use media, apps or posters to document a story
  • Use of basic poetry and rhymes for expression

 

Who is this for?

  • Young adults aged 12-17 years
  • Interested in making friends and engaging in group activities

 

What are the expected outcomes?

  • Demonstrate skills in listening and responding within a group 
  • Develop skills in speaking in front of a group 
  • Develop skills in planning and organisation within a group 
  • Learn positive ways of expressing yourself
