Learn positive ways of expressing yourself
Use drama activities to create a range of stories, both journaling personal stories and the creation of imaginative stories.
This will enable you to act out scenes but also document your story using either recording, media, a journal, cartoon or posters.
Skill development will focus on working and communicating positively within a peer group.
Furthermore, building confidence through creative, fun and interactive self-expression.
What's involved?
- Drama warm up activities
- Improvisation with scene setting activities
- Self-expression through storytelling
- Use music and pictures to make stories
- Use media, apps or posters to document a story
- Use of basic poetry and rhymes for expression
Who is this for?
- Young adults aged 12-17 years
- Interested in making friends and engaging in group activities
What are the expected outcomes?
- Demonstrate skills in listening and responding within a group
- Develop skills in speaking in front of a group
- Develop skills in planning and organisation within a group
- Learn positive ways of expressing yourself
