Exciting activity from Europe which has just been included in Para athletics! 

It’s a great way to get moving around, to improve your strength, mobility, and fitness. Come and give it a go!

Tailored to each individual's needs and abilities. The sessions can be focused on improving strength and conditioning and general mobility, and also in preparation for racing and competing for advanced participants. 

 

Who is this program for?

  • 5 - 25 years
  • Suitable for participants of all diagnoses and specifically for clients who are mixed mobility users (GMFCS III/IV equivalent)
  • Participants must be comfortable in group environments and have good receptive language 

 

What's included?

  • Initial 1-1 assessment session to assess your ideal set up and practice utilise the race runner 
  • After the assessment partipants engage in weekly group sessions at either our Ryde or Allambie sites 
  • These group sessions involve utilising the race runners in a variety of creative ways

 

Where is this program available?

  • CPA Ryde: Monday 4:30-5:30 pm
  • CPA Allambie Heights: Wednesday 4:00-5:00 pm

 

Who is the group run by?

A Sports development manager will run groups up to 6 participants.
