Healthy Kids Group

A fun and engaging program that will help your child develop the skills for an active and healthy lifestyle.

Healthy Kids Group is a fun and interactive weekly and school holiday program delivered by ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologists (EP). 

The program includes structured exercise and education around healthy eating and the benefits of physical activity. All participants will receive physical activity and healthy eating resources they can easily incorporate into their daily routine.   

The group is kept small to encourage the kids to build strong friendships as a result of participation.

  • Capacity Building - Improved Health & Wellbeing (Category 12)
  • Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living (Category 15)

What does it involve?

  • Facilitation of exercise in group format (typically 1 EP : 3-4 participants) 
  • Fun and interactive group activities 
  • Emphasis on key learning topics that focus on health and fitness education
  • Sessions include warm up, facilitation exercises specific to individual goals and cool down.

What are the outcomes?

Who is the program for?

  • Children looking to increase their health and fitness in a group environment
  • Participants who are able to independently follow instructions and exercises (or with the support of a carer)
