We have been providing supported short and long term accommodation for people with a range of disabilities for more than 60 years.
Supported independent living (SIL)
We are passionate about providing long term supported disability accommodation in homes that have all been specially built or modified to enable independent living in a warm home environment.
Our independent living service not only supports NDIS accommodation funding requirements, but residents can also access a broad range of other disability services to support their individual needs. CPA provides assisted living for people who want to live life their way.
We currently provide customised, supported residential services and in-home care in 100 homes across the Sydney, Central Coast and Hunter regions, supporting more than 400 people living with disability.
Respite
We offer short-term accommodation or respite care in a supportive and caring environment.
Whether it’s just overnight, or up to several weeks, a stay in one of our homes can provide much needed respite for children and adults living with a disability, and their families.
It also offers clients:

As Respite Manager, I see on a daily basis the way CPA’s short-term accommodation really makes a difference to people’s lives. We see people developing skills that help them learn to live away from the family home. We see new friendships made and new experiences uncovered. We know it can also be tough for parents who care full-time for someone living with disability, and short term accommodation has the added benefit of providing a moment for the family to rest and reconnect.

Barry’s dream home
