SQUIDLY A novel telepractice platform for eye gaze users

SQUIDLY, is a new tele platform designed specifically to be accessible to eye gaze users. It uses embedded eye tracking allowing clinicians and users to trial and implement eye gaze activities from a web browser.

Who can participate?

Individuals 7 years to 65 years with a gross motor function classification system (GMFCS) level III to level V, or individuals with a manual ability classification system (MACS) level IV to level V and with Viking Speech Scale III-IV. Participants will need to be able to interact in English.

What is involved?

You will be asked to participate in 3 sessions with a speech pathologist engaging in different activities based on your eye gaze user. This may involve:

  • Completing surveys about your experience as an eye gaze user
  • Engaging in conversation tasks
  • Testing eye gaze games in SQUIDLY
