Dentists working on a patient at the dental clinic

Research study invitation: Oral health related quality of life and the barriers for people with cerebral palsy accessing dental care in Australia.

We are a team of researchers from the University of Sydney.  We’re running a study to help us understand more about oral health and how it impacts quality of life and access to services for people with cerebral palsy (CP) in Australia. We invite you to fill out a short online survey (15-20 minutes) about your oral health. After this, we will invite you to do an optional interview with us, via Zoom.

Who can participate?

  1. Adults with CP who are 18 years or older, with functional vision, who can read English and have no/mild intellectual impairment.
  2. Parent/caregivers of adults with CP (18 years or older) who require support to complete the survey. Caregivers will need functional vision, to be able to read English and have access to a computer or device to complete the online survey.
  3. Carers of children with CP aged between 7-17, who have functional vision, who can read English and have access to a computer or device to complete an online survey
