People with Disability Australia (PWDA) is inviting people to express their interest in joining them in the 2026 Sydney Mardi Gras parade on Saturday 28 February 2026 in Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, Sydney. Â
PWDA is a proud community partner of the Mardi Gras parade, celebrating LGBTQIA+ people with disability and amplifying their voices on one of the biggest stages of the year. Spots are limited and priority will be given to PWDA members and LGBTQIA+ community members, including people with disability who live in NSW and the ACT. Â
We know that taking part in Mardi Gras looks different for everyone, and there are many ways to participate beyond marching in the parade.Â
In March, CPA’s Accommodation & Respite (A&R) team will be hosting a Mardi Gras Watch Party, creating a fun, inclusive space for people to come together, celebrate and enjoy the parade. Details will be shared closer to the date.Â
We’ve also been sharing information across CPA about other ways people can get involved, including:Â

Stay tuned for more CPA opportunities to celebrate pride, inclusion and community throughout 2026!Â
