At Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA), it’s an important moment to celebrate the voices, experiences and achievements of the 5.5 million Australian people with disability, and to amplify the message of inclusion, accessibility and equality in every part of society.
This year, CPA is proud to mark IDPwD through:
IDPwD is more than a date – it’s a reminder that accessibility, representation, and equity are shared responsibilities.
In Australia, IDPwD is a joint effort between government, schools, organisations, community groups, businesses and individuals. We all have a role to play in ensuring people with disability can participate in all aspects of community life. So, get yourself and your community involved!
Check out the below list of events across NSW – it’s not an exhaustive list so make sure you check your local community for more events in your local area, encourage your school, workplace or community group to organise an IDPwD event, or even host your own celebrations during the week of 3rd December!
