Chloe is a proud small business owner and a vibrant creative force in CPA’s Lifestyles Masterclass program, which she attends every Tuesday. With a natural flair for craft and a love for all things handmade, Chloe is thriving in an environment that nurtures her talents, supports her goals, and celebrates her achievements.
For Chloe, joining the Masterclass program has been about more than just developing skills – it’s been a chance to connect with others who share her passions.
“This program has given me a new opportunity to make friends and to have better skills in doing craft,” she says.
Each Tuesday, Chloe walks into a welcoming and structured space, where a whiteboard lists everyone’s names and their personalised programs. While one participant might be focused on 3D printing, Chloe dives into resin work, painting, and card making.
“Whatever their goals are, the staff will try to make that happen” she explains.
Chloe’s creative journey started early in life, inspired by her aunt’s card-making. Today, that early spark has grown into a true calling. Her favourite activities include painting, card making, and especially working with resin, which she turns into stunning bookmarks and handmade gifts.
What sets Masterclass apart is the way it empowers participants to turn their passions into products with purpose. Chloe’s resin creations are made with care over several days, then polished, packaged, and sold online through CPA’s website or at local markets and events like Mother’s Day stalls.
“We make the resin. It takes three days to set,” she explains. “Then we take it out of its silicon mold, add a tassel if it’s a bookmark, package it in clear packaging, and then we post it at the post office if it needs to be sent.”
Knowing that people are purchasing her creations – and that they love them – is incredibly rewarding.
“When a customer buys something I made, it makes me feel happy,” Chloe shares with pride.
Chloe’s time at Masterclass has helped her sharpen her artistic techniques, build her confidence, and discover what’s possible when creative energy meets the right support. It’s also given her a greater sense of purpose and direction.
