This study explores the use of a humanoid robot, Pepper, in rehabilitation games designed to motivate and engage children.
Through this study, researchers from Western Sydney University aim to improve therapy experiences for children with disabilities by integrating advanced technology into fun, interactive game sessions.
Who can participate?
Children 8-14 years of age with cerebral palsy as well as children 8-14 years without disabilities.
Where do the sessions take place?
Westmead campus of Western Sydney University, Hawkesbury Rd Westmead
What is involved?
Sessions go for about an hour; 10 mins to introduce the robot, 30 mins of gameplay and 20 mins interview.
A $50 gift card is offered to cover travel expenses to the University.
