Are you a child or young person with cerebral palsy who has had lower limb orthopaedic surgery? We need your help!

Researchers from The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, want to interview children and young people with cerebral palsy (CP) or their parents/carers, about their/their child’s experience of pain and anxiety following lower limb orthopaedic surgery. They want to better understand the experience of pain and anxiety, from the perspective of the child/young person and their parents/carers.

Who can participate? Children and young people with CP aged 12-18 years OR parents/carers of a child with CP. The child/young person has had lower limb orthopaedic surgery between the ages of 8-18 years (+/- surgery before this age) either at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead or Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

What is involved? Participation involved a 30-60min interview and a short questionnaire.
