An examination of executive and motor function in adults with cerebral palsy or autism spectrum condition and the relationship with quality-of-life and well-being outcomes.

Researchers at the University of Sydney want to learn more about the relationship between thinking styles and motor function in adults with cerebral palsy, how they influence one’s quality of life and disability and how they compare to people without CP.

Who can participate? People with cerebral palsy who:

  • are between 18 – 50 years of age
  • can read and write in English
  • can walk independently over short distances (up to 10 metres)
  • can complete manual tasks without adaptive support or assistance from another person

 

What would you need to do?

  • Attend a study visit at the Brain and Mind Centre in Camperdown, Sydney
  • Complete some assessments
  • Complete an online electronic diary on a weekly basis for 12 weeks following the study visit
