Become a member of Cerebral Palsy Alliance

Cerebral Palsy Alliance has a long and proud history as a member based organisation. Our members play important roles in the ongoing work of Cerebral Palsy Alliance, voting at our Annual General Meeting and electing the Board of Directors.

Eligibility to be a Member – who can apply?

Under the Constitution the members include:

  1. 1. the directors; and
  2. 2. any other persons the directors admit to membership in accordance with the constitution and any membership policy adopted by the directors.


The Board has determined that the following individuals are eligible for membership:

  1. 1. Member with a disability: a person with cerebral palsy or a similar disability who is aged 18 years or over who receives or has received services from Cerebral Palsy Alliance;
  2. 2. Support Member: a person who is aged 18 years or over who is or has been a parent, step-parent, sibling, legal guardian or primary carer (to a maximum of two) of any person with cerebral palsy or a similar disability who receives or has received services from Cerebral Palsy Alliance;

How to apply for membership

To apply for membership you need to submit a membership application form for the Board of Cerebral Palsy Alliance to consider. Please submit your application form to the Company Secretary – company.secretary@cererbralpalsy.org.au.

When your membership is approved you will receive written notice of acceptance.
