Our weekly Boccia Skill Development Group is a great introductory-level program for athletes who have no previous experience in the sport.Â
The sessions support athletes in learning and applying the foundations of boccia including the basic skills and techniques, equipment, and strategies so you can improve your confidence and participation in a supportive and nurturing group environment.
Boccia is a Paralympic sport, similar to lawn bowls, played indoors with soft leather balls. It’s a target sport with the objective of getting the balls closer to the jack (white ball) than your opponent by throwing or with the assistance of a ramp.Â
Note: This weekly program runs in line with NSW school term dates ONLY.
