CPA Orange Centre Receives Vital Upgrade to Continue Supporting the Central West

Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s (CPA) Orange Centre is celebrating an important boost to its services, with a $48,000 grant from the NSW Government’s 2025 Community Building Partnership program going towards much-needed roof repairs.

The announcement, made by Member for Orange Phil Donato on 29 August, will ensure the centre can continue delivering expert therapy and support for people with cerebral palsy and similar conditions across the Central West.

This funding recognises the vital role the CPA Orange Centre plays in the lives of local families.  “CPA deserves this financial support so they can continue to be there for those who rely on them,” Mr Donato said.

A Trusted Provider Across the Central West

CPA Orange provides multidisciplinary therapy services to clients of all ages — offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology — across Orange, Parkes, Forbes, Bathurst, Oberon, and surrounding towns.

With a team of dedicated clinicians, the centre helps people build strength, confidence, and independence through tailored therapy programs and innovative approaches. The team’s commitment to reaching people beyond Orange has also been recognised, with CPA Orange recently named a finalist for Outreach Program of the Year in the 2025 Central West Mummy Awards — a testament to their dedication to ensuring everyone, regardless of location, can access life-changing therapy.

Supporting Regional Communities

Therapy Team Leader Sophie Kerrigan said the site upgrade will make a meaningful difference for clients and staff alike.

“Cerebral palsy and other developmental conditions are often more common in regional areas because of limited access to prenatal and early intervention services,” Ms Kerrigan explained. “Grants like this help us stay here — providing local therapy and support to families who might otherwise have to travel long distances to access the same quality of care.”

For regional families, the CPA Orange Centre is more than a therapy hub. It’s a welcoming community space that offers guidance, support, and reassurance for clients and their families.

A Future-Ready Facility

The roof upgrade will ensure the centre remains safe, comfortable, and welcoming for clients and staff year-round. It reflects CPA’s commitment to maintaining modern, accessible spaces that support world-class care in local communities.

As the Central West continues to grow, so does the need for high-quality, local therapy services. With the support of the NSW Government and the dedication of the CPA Orange team, we look forward to welcoming clients to enjoy the upgraded facilities and continue receiving the expert care they know and trust.
