Social access and social inclusion outcomes for people with a disability in leisure

This study is exploring how young people with different types of disabilities experience social inclusion and take part in leisure activities. It includes people with physical, cognitive, sensory, neurodevelopmental, and psychosocial disabilities.

The research is being led by PhD student Hannah Simmonds and a team from Griffith University.

Who can participate?

  • People living in Australia
  • Aged 18 to 34 years
  • Living with any kind of disability,
  • Can complete this survey in English (with assistance if required).

What is involved?

  •  An online survey (up to 30 minutes)
  •  The survey asks questions about:
    • You
    • Your participation in leisure activities
    • Barriers and supports you have experienced
    • Anything else you’d like to share about your experience
