TUGGERAH – January 2020 Holidays

Mighty Kids is a breakthrough intensive therapy program for children who experience challenges with hand and gross motor function.

Exclusive to Cerebral Palsy Alliance,Mighty Kids draws on the latest neuroplasticity research, and is clinically proven to provide lasting functional improvement for children with cerebral palsy aged 6-13 years.

Using play to engage and motivate children, the program is tailored to each child’s unique interests and goals; whether it’s learning to ride a two-wheel bike, tying shoe laces or independently walking stairs.


TRAINING:  Thurs 9 Jan from 1.30pm - 3.30pm at our Tuggerah Centre (mandatory requirement)

PROGRAM DATES: 5 day program I Monday 13 Jan – Fri 17 Jan, 2020

TIME:  9am-3.30pm each day

LOCATION:  Teamster Av, Tuggerah NSW



  • Volunteers will be studying physiotherapy, speech, social work, psychology or occupational therapy (preferable, but not essential)
  • Volunteers paired with a child to deliver the Mighty Kids intervention
  • You will receive regular support and training from experienced, SP, PT & OTs
  • You will learn about Mighty Kids incl. motor learning principles + how to structure, scaffold and provide “just right challenge” for children with cerebral palsy.



  • Volunteers receive free training + hands on experience in this new and evidence-based therapy approach
  • Role is a unique opportunity to learn from experienced paediatric physiotherapists and occupational therapists
  • All volunteers will receive a certificate of attendance.
