Three days of fun, fitness, friendships and finding your limits!

CPA's Swim-Triathlon Camp is a great opportunity to learn and build on swimming or triathlon skills within a supported team environment while having fun and making new friends.

The camp is based on swimming and triathlon sports, incorporating sessions that focus on skill development, strength and fitness, with the opportunity to participate in racing. Other cross-training sports will also be featured such as water polo. 

The focus is on fun, fitness, learning new skills and making new friends. No previous experience in competing is required, just the motivation to try everything on offer, and to do your best. 

 

Who is this program for?

Children and adults ages 10-40 years who are:

  • Interested in joining group activities to play sports
  • Looking to build skills in swimming, running and cycling
  • Comfortable getting active and giving everything a go

 

What does the camp include?

  • Arrival at 4pm Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon approx. 1pm
  • Three days of skill development, fitness sessions and racing
  • Coaching provided by CPA Sports team staff
  • Guidance and presentations by elite junior Para-triathletes and swimmers

 

Program:

Friday, 24 March 2023

  • 5-6pm: Welcome, Meet & Camp Information
  • 6-7pm: Dinner
  • 7-8.30pm: Bootcamp

Saturday, 25 March 2023

  • 8am: Breakfast
  • 9-11.30am - Triathlon or Swimming
  • 11.30am-12.30pm: Water Polo
  • 12.30pm: Lunch
  • 1.30-5pm Triathlon or Swimming
  • 5:30-6pm: Warm Down Session
  • 6pm: Dinner
  • 7-8pm: Team Building Activity

Sunday, 26 March 2023

  • 8am: Breakfast
  • 9-9.30am: Race Preparations, Warm-ups and Briefings
  • 9.30-11.30pm: Races for both Triathlon and Swimming
  • 11.30-12.30pm: Pool Session with Team Relay Races
  • 12.30pm: Final Briefing & Awards
  • 1pm: Lunch
  • 1.30pm: Departure

 

What are the expected outcomes?

  • To develop all aspects of swimming and triathlon skills training and racing skills
  • To develop improved fitness, strength and endurance
  • The ability to operate both within a team environment and as an individual athlete, and learning how to be coached and perform in achievable training sessions
