Congenital CMV Disability Prevention Network

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Institute is pleased to be working in partnership with the Honourable Brad Hazzard and lead organisations in New South Wales to form the Congenital CMV Disability Prevention Network.

The aims of this group are to:

• Work together in raising awareness about CMV and strategies that can prevent or reduce the severity of disability resulting from congenital infection
• Commit to holding events or promoting CMV awareness and prevention messaging in June (CMV Month) each year
• Seek opportunities and support to embed CMV risk reduction strategies and processes into standard practice in the health system
