As a Lived Experience Engagement Coordinator, Sophie has seen a lot of change over the years. Throughout it all, she has championed the importance of listening to people with lived experience and bringing their perspectives into the work we do.
“The insights and ideas that come from people with lived experience, to see things from a different perspective, is really important,” Sophie says. “This is our aim… embedding lived experience through everything we do.”
Sophie’s own career has grown through curiosity, learning and a willingness to embrace new opportunities. “I showed interest and I took every opportunity. I think the training provided [at CPA] is so valuable.”
Her story shows how a career at Cerebral Palsy Alliance can grow and evolve over time — shaped by new experiences, continuous learning and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.
For anyone thinking about joining Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Sophie’s invitation is simple: “Come and work with us. Your voice will be heard.”
This is the magic that happens when… Great minds think differently.
If you’re ready to grow, learn and connect, join us at Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
