ST IVES Lifestyles – Community Markets

Our service is trying to provide opportunities for each individual, to feel valued, to feel like they are contributing and also that they are genuinely participating and included in the mainstream way of life. We give lots of choice in the following areas:

• Wellness support
• Arts Pathways
• Community Access and participation;
• Education and skills courses; and
• Social Enterprise

Our Lifestyles Support team are looking for support in a variety of day programs to support adults with disabilities.

• PROGRAM DAY: Saturday 5^th August 2023
• TIME: 8am – 2pm
• LOCATION: St Ives Lifestyles, Stanley Street St Ives

Please note if it is raining on the day, the event will be cancelled

VOLUNTEER ROLE

We have several stalls that we need support setting up/running/packing down for the morning. We will have the participants coming to enjoy the market/socialise. The volunteers would be encouraged to engage with the participants.

• Use and learn new skills to enhance inclusion for people with a range of disabilities
• Gain hands-on experience in giving back to the local community
• Experience the real-life impact of providing a chance for adults with a disability to enjoy a positive experience with sport (often for the first time)
• Receive a certificate of attendance
