STUART CENTRE- Therapy Support – Toy cleaning and Administration – Newcastle

CPA's therapy teams often use toys in sessions with children to encourage little ones to participate in therapy through playtime activities.

To ensure our clients have access to clean and fresh toys, our Stuart Centre team are looking for volunteers to come in for a few hours a week to help clean the toys and ensure the therapy rooms are kept tidy and well-stocked. As a volunteer, you may also be provided with some administration tasks by our Customer Service team.



  • Washing/cleaning therapy toys as per guidelines provided by our therapy team
  • Tidy therapy rooms, check equipment and supplies
  • Maintain supply of therapy aids such as playdough and sharpened pencils
  • Support our Customer Service team with administration tasks
  • Follow all Safe Operating Instructions provided by CPA
  • Weekly or fortnightly commitment - we can work around your availability
  • Available to start in the New Year 



    • Receive practical experience supporting our administration and therapy teams
    • Gain insights into how Cerebral Palsy Alliance supports clients with a range of disabilities
    • Give back to the community by assisting our therapists to support children with a range of disabilities 
    • Learn from experienced administration and health professionals



    • 6 month commitment preferred
    • Willingness to undertake Working with Children and Police Checks
    • Complete an NDIS online training module (prior to starting your role)
    • Attend a Volunteer Induction session 
    • Comply with CPA’s COVID-19 safe working guidelines.
    • Full Covid Vaccination mandatory
