Posted on Wed 10 Mar 2021

Researchers at the Queensland University of Technology are looking into parents’ experience of adulthood for their child with an Intellectual Disability.

They are inviting parents of a child/adult over the age of 15 with an Intellectual Disability to participate in their study. Participants will engage in a phone interview where they will be asked questions relating to their understanding of adulthood for their child, and experience of the transition to adulthood. The interview will take about 1 hour.
