Growing up watching my Occupational Therapist mum support clients at CPA’s Prairiewood site inspired me to set my sights firmly on pursuing a career in Allied Health. I also have a passionate interest for the assessment, prescription and implementation of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems. This includes using Key Word Sign, low-tech communication systems such as picture symbol boards and books and high-tech communication systems such as eye-gaze devices and iPad apps, to improve communication in children and adults who have difficulty communicating with speech alone.
