
Alysia joined Cerebral Palsy Alliance in 2019. She has 16 years of experience working with children with a range of delays and disabilities, including Global Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome and various genetic disorders.
She has a special interest in early communication skills, parent training as well as supporting families with Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
Alysia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology). Since graduating, she has also participated in ongoing professional development.
Alysia loves seeing clients further develop their communication skills and blossom into more effective communicators! One of the most important parts of her role is fostering strong, collaborative relationships with clients and their families.
