Christine Vasiliou
Position: Senior Occupational Therapist

Christine has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) degree at the University of Sydney and is registered with AHPRA, and a member of OT Australia.

Christine has over 10 years of experience as a qualified Occupational Therapist working in the area of physical disability including multiple diagnosis. Six and a half of those years were at The Spastic Centre (now known as CPA) within the Adult Resource Program and again most currently (since 2015) with the Life Points team at Penshurst.

Working together with clients, families, carers, within a multidisciplinary team has given her a greater understanding of the impact of physical disability on function and an individual’s ability to take part in everyday activities, as well as the impact of all those involved.

Her role includes various and many assistive technology prescriptions, applications for funding, school/home modifications, manual handling, wheelchair/seating assessments and upper limb interventions.

Her passion is in working with adults and children with complex disabilities and is evident in everything that she does.
