Position: Team Leader

Armed with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Sociology) and a Bachelor of Human Services, Sophie worked in community-based family support programs before transferring to the disability sector.

She joined Cerebral Palsy Alliance in 2010 as Team Administrator and stayed for three years before moving to other disability service providers in the Alstonville area. 

Sophie returned to CPA in 2017 as Team Leader because she appreciates the expertise and commitment of the Alstonville team and their broad range of skills and knowledge, which includes expertise in early intervention, equipment, augmentative and alternative communication and mealtime management.

Sophie contributes her experience in family support programs. She has an extensive knowledge of the supports and services that are available in the community and how to link into them to help clients and their families to achieve their goals.

Sophie is completing her Masters in Social Work at Southern Cross University.
