Get active and have fun at our multi sports camp, whether you're 10 or 35!

Our Multi-Sports Camp provides young people living with physical disabilities an opportunity to try new sports and make new friends in a supportive environment.

 

What does this program involve?

A two-day multi-sports camp where participants have an opportunity to try a variety of new and dynamic sports

  • Each sport is modified and delivered in a fun, inclusive and supported way, that enables everybody to develop their skills, make new friends, and improve their fitness
  • 16 sports on offer, up to 18 hours of sports activities

Camp begins Friday afternoon and finishes Sunday after lunch. There will be limited residential opportunities available.

 

Program

Friday 9/4/21

  • Participants to arrive from 3.30pm
  • 4-6pm: Bootcamp
  • 6pm: Dinner
  • 7-9pm: Football and touch football

 

Saturday 10/4/21

  • 8am-12.30pm: Kayaking, swimming, triathlon, badminton, table tennis
  • 12.30pm: Lunch
  • 1.30-6pm: Archery, cricket, tennis
  • 6pm: Dinner
  • 7-9pm: Basketball and netball

 

Sunday 11/4/21

  • 8am-12pm: Mountain biking, athletics, race running, AFL, baseball
  • 12pm: Lunch and awards

 

Who is this program for?

  • Participants aged 10 to 35 years – all ability types welcome (note: participants must have good receptive language and be able participating in groups)
  • Individuals willing to trying something new & learn new skills
  • Those wanting to make new friends and have fun
