Develop social and practical skills through fun and enjoyable activities

Join us for a weekly Leisure Lab and develop social skills and independence through various engaging experiences in a safe and friendly environment. Participants have an opportunity to develop confidence, friendships, problem-solving, and teamwork through fun outcome orientated activities.

 

What does this program involve?

  • Different activity each week focused on life domains of friendship, independence and health
    • Learn about yourself and your county
    • Explore other cultures and learn about our differences
    • Lego – teamwork challenge
    • Cooking skills - cheat and eat
    • Sports activities
    • Creative and performing arts
    • Healthy choices
    • Building and smashing
    • Science experiments
    • Games, connecting, interacting
    • Media play
  • Term-based 2-hour program running after school every week
  • Increase social skills, team work, and communication via activied, group games and more
