Get confidence in the water whether you are 5 or 18 years

These weekly swim sessions will enable participants to practice swim skills across all four strokes and increase their fitness and strength in a group setting. All exercises aim to develop confidence in the water, water safety, endurance and swim skills, and prepare for school swimming carnivals.

 

Who is this program for?

  • For children and teens aged 5-18 years
  • Suitable for children of all abilities
  • Participants must be able comfortable in group lessons and can follow simple instructions (good receptive language) 
  • Participants must be able to get in and out of the pool independently

 

What does this program cover?

The 30-minute lessons work on developing a range of skills in the water including:

  • Swim stroke correction and streamlining 
  • Development of endurance 
  • Endurance/Strength building 
  • Increased confidence in the water

 

Where is this program available?

  • Captain Ron Patrick Memorial Pool, 5 Aquatic Drive Frenchs Forest - Thursday
  • Macquarie Park (Good Vibes Fitness) 7-11 Talavera Rd, Macquarie Park - Monday

 

Who is the group run by?

A Head swim coach and exercise physiologist will run groups up to 4 participants.
