The Sydney Singles is a fantastic competition for any experienced or new Boccia athlete, providing the opportunity to prepare for your next tournament.

Boccia is a Paralympic sport, similar to lawn bowls, played indoors with soft leather balls. It’s a target sport with the objective of getting your balls closest to the jack (white ball) than your opponent.

These sessions are run by experienced and qualified coaches to help you better your game. Those players who would like to extend their game and be challenged, or who enjoy playing in a team environment would benefit from attending these Boccia sessions.

 

What is involved?

At each session all players are guarenteed a minimum of two full competition games. This will include electronic score boards, and officials to set up the full international BIS-Fed game experience. There is also space and time for a warm up, and consolidating skills with a quick skills session afterwards. The facility is purpose built for wheelchair access, and the sports hall uniquley has two diffrent types of Terraflex surfaces to play on. All equiment can be provided.
